SAIC is seeking a motivated and experienced cybersecurity professional to join our team of diverse Global Positioning System (GPS) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) experts.  The GPS SE&I Team provides engineering, technical analysis and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the GPS program supporting the Space and Missile Center. As a member of our cybersecurity team, you’ll work in a high-paced environment with Air Force personnel and system developers to ensure GPS remains the gold standard for position, navigation and timing. 

 
Duties Include:
  • Support the GPS Enterprise in defining, capturing, and maintaining the cybersecurity engineering technical, schedule, and cost risk data throughout the system lifecycle as well as developing risk mitigation courses of action and assessing risk impacts and proposed changes 
  • Support enterprise and system-level cybersecurity engineering and integration functions required to successfully deliver GPS capabilities and services 
  • Ensure effective cybersecurity engineering requirements integration across space, control (ground), and user segments; hardware and software; and all other aspects of systems and organizations within the GPS Enterprise
  • Ensure the application of appropriate cybersecurity engineering principles to meet technical requirements and trace requirements to system and test specifications
  • Apply cybersecurity knowledge to interpret and advise on systems engineering specifications, requirements, and technical data

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 5+ years experience with Cyber testing to include experience with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • 1+ years of experience review software code for security issues.
  • Security + or equivalent cybersecurity certification

Desired Qualifications

 
  • CISSP or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification
  • 5+ years cyber testing experience
  • Experience with AF Space Command systems
