This position is for a Deployment Analyst/Scheduler providing deployment, logistical, sustainment, and operational support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This support includes, but is not limited to, providing or performing planning and analysis, scheduling support, development and analysis, management, and deployed site execution as they relate to these functional areas:
Deployment planning, support, and sustainment from project concept through transition to operations
Perform stakeholder coordination through the execution of Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams
Facility acquisition process
Execution of deployed site operations and support services
Provide program schedule analysis and technical support for the planning, acquisition, and deployment of the Missile Defense System (MDS).
Maintain multiple schedule project files and databases, as assigned
Assist in the development and coordination of facility and infrastructure life-cycle schedule requirements.
Assist in decision documentation preparation such as briefings and supporting materials (white papers, fact sheets, status reports, progress reports, and information papers) that support life-cycle management of MDA facilities and infrastructure
Support the Government Lead in synchronizing organizational activities
Developing program planning documents (statements of work, cost estimate support, activation plans).
Developing site activation facilities requirements documentation and site activation plans.
Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and six (6) years or more experience
U. S. Citizen
DoD Secret Clearance (Can start with Interim)
Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Products ( including MS Project)
Ability to plan, coordinate, and support product development in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Demonstrated excellent communications, briefing and writing skills, technical writing capability desired.
Ability to work independently or within teams to solve problems
Ability to work multiple projects/tasks for different managers
Willingness to rotate to remote MDS sites for 20-35 days at a time up to 4 times per year
Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency.
Experience developing facilities requirements documentation
Project management experience during site deployment, to include construction, master schedules, budget, and configuration management
Experience developing policies, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for site activation, system deployment, and site sustainment practices
Experience developing and implementing program activities; coordinating efforts of multiple stakeholders, prime contractors and subcontractors, and support service personnel
Experience developing acquisition plans and supporting procurement actions, scopes of work
Working knowledge of Primavera
