SAIC has several contingent opportunities available supporting The US Navy Ready Relevant Learning (RRL) Content Conversion project, a large Government program.
This effort will employ innovative instructional design and assessment strategies in conjunction with new and modernized technology. The goal of RRL is to provide the right training at the right time in the right way to improve the transfer of training to the work environment. RRL is a holistic approach to reimagining how the Navy trains its Sailors. It will transform the Navy’s current training model to deliver training across the continuum of a career using modern learning techniques that improve comprehension and retention of knowledge.
These positons are contingent upon contract award and can be located in Cookeville, TN, Virginia Beach, VA, Pensacola, FL, or DC Metro Area.
Develops, directs, plans and evaluates training programs or activities to meet external customer or internal employee learning objectives. Assignments may include needs analysis, custom course development, development of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of course objectives, and evaluation and learning assessments. Where instructing within a certified educational institution, responsible for determining the organization, communication and delivery of the course content and materials, and for developing learning activities and demonstrations. Collaborates with customer or internal functional organization to develop, enhance, and/or evaluate new or existing learning objectives and course content. May create course content, training materials, visual aids and documentation to support a variety of instructional formats such as lecture, lab exercises, field training, computer-based training (CBT), and/or web-based training (WBT). Monitors and evaluates training programs, assesses results, and implements enhancements as needed. Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
BASIC EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.
Position requires ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Preference will be given to individuals with active current clearance.
