Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) is looking for a Systems Integration and Test Engineer for Command and Control and Tactical Data Link (TDL) networks. The qualified candidate will work in a rapid integration and testing environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The selected candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks including one or more of the following: System and Software requirements assessment; System and Software integration and test; Demonstration, test and evaluation activities. The integration and test tasks involve all aspects of hardware and software integration including the planning, conduct, analysis, assessment and reporting of formal system test activities conducted within a laboratory and/or testing range.
QualificationsTYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. An additional 4 years or more experience may be applied in lieu of a Bachelors.
Certifications: 8570 Level 2 Certification or ability to rapidly attain
Skills: SME for Command, Control, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) and/or Tactical Data Networks; SME for Integration and Test of complex systems incorporating Hardware, Software, Network components; Experience with formal Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) processes and documentation.
Relevant Experience: Systems Engineering, Integration and Testing of complex DoD systems incorporating Hardware, Software, and Network Components. Formal Developmental, Operational, Test, and Evaluation (DOT&E) of DoD systems. Formal Systems Engineering ranging from Requirements Development and Analysis, Architecture Definition, Subsystem/System Design and Integration, Verification and Validation, and Testing to include related processes, documentation, activities and reviews.
Individual must have a current Secret security clearance or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
