Description

 Position will be responsible for providing analytical engineering support to a variety of programs including some with ACAT 1 designation.  Support will include relevant data gathering and presentation activities across multiple IPTs in preparation for various milestone events, participation in technical meetings to document decisions and challenges identified in the path forward, facilitating weekly engineering meetings, development of meeting minutes and action tracking, production and interpretation of documentation, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and other engineering tasks as required. 

 

Qualifications

BS or BA from an accredited college or university in Business, Management, or related technical discipline. (Allowable substitution: An AA or AS in Business, Management, or related technical discipline and an additional 4 years of recent experience OR an additional 6 years relevant technical experience may be substituted for a BS or BA.)

 

At least 4 years of recent and relevant technical experience is required.  Familiarity with DoD policy and procedures including Defense Acquisition Guidebook, DOD Instruction 5000.02, and DoD Risk Issue and Opportunity Management Guide.  Must have experience with NAVAIR program engineering and program management activities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Desired Qualifications

 

Strong communication skills to coordinate between both program management and technical Subject Matter Experts.

Attention to detail and note taking required to document decisions and discussions.
