Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT: N/A
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY: Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.

LIAISON: Primarily internal company contacts. Infrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.
Ensure that Built-In-Test (BIT) and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Testability meet program requirements and address all levels of maintenance.
Address BIT issues and work to improve BIT and PHM.
Work to establish procedures to interface Depot with platform data warehouse.
Supports Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) TMRR program/SETR events/TIMs, and CDRL/DAL/Brief reviews.
Program focused on BIT and ATE Testability to ensure maintainability and supportability to reduce Life Cycle Cost.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with two (2) + years’ experience or Master’s degree in Engineering with zero (0) years’ experience
Must be able to obtain a FULL DOD Secret Clearance.
Engineer test experience with any of the following AEW(Airborne Electronic Warfare) systems/Aircraft: EA-6B, EA-18G, ALQ-240, ALQ-99, ALQ-218, P-8A,Tactical Jamming Systems (TJS), Next Generation Jammer (NGJ), Universal Exciter Upgrade (UEU).
Built-in-testing or Automated Test Equipment (ATE) experience.
Excellent communication skills; Inter-personal; organizational and detail-oriented.
Compiles, analyzes, and reports data.
Thrives in a deadline-driven environment.
Full knowledge of the job.
Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered.
