Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst Sr. to join the team in Holloman AFB.  The Logistics Analyst will directly supervise individual contributors to include skilled technicians, logisticians, and administrative support personnel located at the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Equipment.  Additionally, the Logistics Analyst will provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance and lead daily operation of the work team to ensures objectives are met in a timely fashion.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate material requirements and shipments to support production requirements and emergent needs in the field. 

  • Plans and schedules warehouse material movements and advises management of material availability and potential supply issues. 

  • Requests material based on inventory requirements and plans efficient movement of material to and from warehouse to support production and supply Field Service Representatives wherever they may be located. 

  • Logistics functions to include coordination, inspection, asset visibility, material management, and transportation plans.

  • Communicate and interact with Government customers to provide required reports and ensure efficient material supply to the end-user. 

  • Lead a small team of logisticians and technicians in a warehouse environment to ensure serviceability of Mission Support Equipment through operational and test bench checks. 

  • Maintain master inventory list and perform visual inspections of equipment to determine condition and level of serviceability. 

  • Manage and maintain strict control and accountability of C4I and Controlled Cryptographic Items as required.


Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience

Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
