Job Description


JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC is currently seeking a Cyber Security Analyst with knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and vulnerability monitoring tools in support of compliance and configuration management activities for PEO Aviation.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provides support for the independent assessment and compliance of information systems against DoD RMF standards
  • Participates in the creation and enforcement of enterprise security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures)
  • Responsible for the monitoring, tracking and reporting of POAMs
    Develops and reports on cyber security metrics
  • Conducts software assessments against new software prior to deployment in production environments
  • Reviews requests for changes to network configuration items
  • Uses vulnerability monitoring or scanning tools such as ACAS or SCAP to scan, identify and remediate vulnerabilities across desktop and server systems
  • Must be able to interpret DoD STiGs and other security standards and provide technical guidance for their implementation into enterprise systems.
  • Assists with administration of McAfee EPO and HBSS systems


  • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience. Will also consider HS and 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • IAT Level II Certification (Security + or equivalent Acceptable Computing Environment certification)

Desired Qualifications



  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems in a DoD environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe and other common desktop applications
  • Microsoft SCCM experience
  • ACAS administration and scanning
  • McAfee EPO and HBSS knowledge is desired
  • Excellent written and organizational skills
  • General knowledge of Federal and DoD Guidance (DoDD 8500.1, DoDI 8500.2), RMF, NIST, and DoD Certification & Accreditation processes
  • General knowledge of network, server and desktop technologies
