Will provide resource analysis for Surf Eagle planning, programming, budgeting, and execution activities. This support includes evaluating monthly execution reports and reconciling resourced activities against those reports, maintaining cost accounting profiles for program capabilities, monitoring budget and execution activity, reviewing resource documentation, supporting response to resource data calls, reviewing resource documentation, and assisting in related research.
Prepare documentation for recording decisions, actions, direction, and programmatic guidance resulting from meetings, reviews, working group meetings, technical interchanges, and technical team meetings. Required to perform technical administration of such meetings, including leading technical discussions, and presenting analysis. Review technical positions and papers prepared by others and provide technical comments.
Prepare technical briefings and associated papers for presentation at meetings, working groups, symposia, technical reviews, workshops, and working group meetings.
PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Participates in the development of solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity. Often refers to policies, procedures and practices for guidance. FREEDOM TO ACT: Works under general direction on routine work. May receive detailed instructions on new projects or assignments. Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. IMPACT: Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to correct. LIASON: Frequent internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: TS/SCI Clearance (JPAS preferred). High School Diploma or GED; AA Engineering Technology, Accounting, Financial Management preferred; 2 years of experience tracking planned expenditure, actual expenditures, commitments, and obligations. Ability to analyze various types of financial reports and reconcile discrepancies with the government accounting system, Standard Accounting, Budgeting, and Reporting System (SABRS). 1 year of experience in the following areas: Information Technology Procurements Request (IPTR) system/software; Submitting funding request to government Comptroller; and Providing labor projections leveraging federal payroll systems and knowledge of civilian personnel rules and regulations.
Desired QualificationsGovernment financial management experience desired.
