SAIC is currently looking for candidates to join our OMDAC SWACA II team upon award. Team SAIC is pursuing the opportunity to provide operation, maintenance, and defense support of Title X communications equipment and information systems under the purview of the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM), 160th Signal Brigade and its subordinate units in the Southwest Asia (SWA) Theater of operations. Positions are located in Kuwait, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Qatar and include a range of qualifications.

The System Administrator position is responsible to configure servers, install, and perform day-to-day system administration for all systems. Implement software on a variety of hardware systems including Dell, HP, and Cisco. These systems may also be connected with fiber attached and/or Internet Small Computer Systems Interface) iSCSI drive arrays. Provide a working knowledge of Windows 2003 Servers, Windows 2008 Servers (or other current version), Active Directory, Exchange 2003, Exchange 2007( or other current version), Microsoft SQL 2005, Microsoft SQL 2008. Comply with applicable network security requirements, including performing necessary scans using Government-provided software, updating security patches, virus signatures, reporting suspected intrusion, and ensuring only Government-authorized software is installed. Maintain accreditation records for each Government computer within a network and maintain them on file for proof of accreditation. Must have the ability to adapt and/or develop new tools as needed to manage the system in an efficient manner. The position provides exposure to cutting-edge technologies.

 

Qualifications

AS or equivalent experience

Minimal years 1+ years experience. Knowledge of administer computer systems. Experience in daily system administrator issues. Knowledge of hardware systems including Dell, HP, and Cisco, knowledge of IP routing and switching. Knowledge of Windows 2003 Servers, Windows 2008 Servers (or other current version), Active Directory, Exchange 2003, Exchange 2007 (or other current version), Microsoft SQL 2005, Microsoft SQL 2008; Cisco Call Manager VoIP/VoSIP technologies; Minimum years of experience is dependent on job level

MCSA or equivalent

IAT II

Active Secret security clearance required
TS/SCI may be required for some positions
