Job Description


SAIC is seeking a Business/Supply Chain Analyst in Crown Point, IN to support the US Navy.



This position investigates/researches DoD contracting companies’ key corporate performance parameters, ownership, personnel skills, demographics, and other data relevant and important to the company’s product supply chain.

  • Extensively research internet and technical journals/publications  
  • Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
  • Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvement
  • Contact and interact with company/corporate representatives to obtain data necessary to develop comprehensive insight and understanding of that entities’ supply chain
  • Evaluate vendor operations
  • Evaluate Risk Readiness, Risk Response, and Risk Recovery domains
  • Evaluate the various disciplines that come together to make up the entirety of a Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) capability
  • Research and determine existence of a Secure Supply Chain or anchor capability
  • Identify company assets and Total Asset Visibility

  • Bachelor’s degree with focus in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Finance or similar field  required
  • Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with supply chain processes   
  • Mid-level proficiency with all Microsoft applications with emphasis on Excel and Access  
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
