SAIC is seeking a ARTC-KU S2 Trainer in Camp Buehring, Kuwait.
Supporting the training of U.S. and Partner Nation soldiers at exercises throughout the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). The ARCENT Readiness Training Center – Kuwait (ARTC-KU) Training Support Team (TST) is comprised of operational planners and trainers based at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, that provide training support for USARCENT tenant and rotational units in the CENTCOM AOR. The TST provides training to Battalion / Brigade unit staffs to include Theater Security Cooperation Exercise locations to include: Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman, Kuwait, Egypt, Kyrgyzstan, Qatar, UAE, Kazakhstan and other locations as requested. The SR STAFF TRAINER – S2 serves as the team’s operational Intelligence SME and reports directly to the Sr. Staff Coordinator/Trainer/ECG.
Serve as the Intelligence SME with responsibility to train and mentor Brigade/Battalion-level S2 staff sections in all aspects of intelligence procedures to include:
Train S2 consideration integration in the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP)
Train IPB as part of MDMP process and development of enemy/threat, terrain and weather, and civil considerations portions of the Common Operating Picture (COP)
Intelligence support to the targeting process, including participating in the targeting meetings
Developing high-value targets (HVT), tracking high-payoff targets (HPT)
Providing intelligence support to IO by integrating intelligence products into IO planning and integrating IO considerations into the other intelligence tasks
Synchronizing intelligence support with combat and ISR operations through close coordination with the Commander, DCO, XO, and S3, analyzing the Commander’s Critical Information Requirements (CCIR); this includes priority intelligence requirements (PIR), friendly forces information requirements (FFIR), and other information requirements (IR) to develop collection tasks and requests from higher and adjacent units.
Assist in the planning and execution of Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) and Operation Spartan Shield (OSS) training and exercises.
Be prepared to deploy throughout the USCENTCOM AOR.
May be required to perform duties in support of Advanced STX training and Observer Controller Training
Perform additional duties as prescribed by the Sr. Staff Coordinator/Trainer/ECG.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; OR Masters and one year of related experience
Active DoD Secret clearance
8 years of related experience
Former Army/USMC E8/O4 or above with Intelligence MOS/Branch
Experience in preparing and planning training exercises for a Brigade/Battalion
CENTCOM Theater Security Cooperation Exercise experience.
Experience in teaching or participating in the MDMP or Marine Corps Planning Process (MCPP)
Must meet USCENTCOM physical / medical requirements
Must deploy to USCENTCOM training locations with austere living conditions
