SAIC is currently seeking a senior software engineer with deep knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, Transact-SQL and SharePoint 2013/2016 for the INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SERVICES III (ITSSIII) Contract at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. The successful candidate should have a thirst for software development & innovation and be capable of working with minimal oversight on enterprise projects and enhancing existing applications.

DUTIES:

· Strong customer focus and teamwork skills required. Experience showing flexibility to cope with a changing environment and short deadlines. Ability to innovatively solve technical issues and work through organizational challenges by thinking out of the box.

· Responsible for designing, building and maintaining SharePoint 2013 enterprise applications and supporting .NET applications developed using SharePoint and Provider-hosted Add-ins.

· Extends and augments the SharePoint platform using Microsoft .NET development, JavaScript, and jQuery.

· Participates in requirements gathering, technical design sessions, software development, peer reviews, unit and integration testing. Assumes accountability for ensuring efficient and high quality software deliverables.

· Troubleshoots client-side and managed code written and provided from a number of sources, sometimes involving SharePoint third party tools such as Nintex.

· Well versed in DOD Information Assurance policies and regulations. Familiar with DISA application development STIGs.

· Proficient with performing both manual and tool assisted code reviews for security compliance, software development best practices, and performance. Ability to optimize new and existing code for performance.

· Uses SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) or PowerBI to create interactive, tabular, graphical, or free-form reports from relational, multidimensional, or XML-based data sources.

Qualifications

· BS degree and 5 years of experience (4 more years of experience accepted in lieu of degree)

· Clearance: Secret (Interim-Secret required prior to start date)

· DOD 8570 Baseline Certification: IAT-I (CompTIA A+CE, CompTIA Network+CE)

· At least one Microsoft computing environment certification (MCTS, MCITP, MCPD, MCSA, or MCSE)

· Software development experience including website design and development using Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, etc.

· SharePoint 2013/2016, InfoPath, IIS, .NET, MS SQL Server, Access, Windows Server, Nintex Workflows/Forms

· Experience with Transact-SQL, SSRS, PowerBI
