SAIC is seeking a Program Manager that provides support to a large federal government agency. Under the direction of the overall PM, this position will manage the performance of a functional service area as part of a larger program.
This position is for Monday through Friday, normal business hours. However, employee may be required to provide after-hours and weekend support during planned or emergency events.
Description of Duties:
Perform as the primary customer interface for Government Director level leadership for technical and business matters, information sharing, and basic problem resolution.
Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. Identifies and analyzes minor variances, and recommends corrective actions.
Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements.
Manage risk, customer relationships, and matrixed program staffing.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to leadership.
Support business development and program staff management.
Experience managing 50 or more program staff including direct labor, subcontractors and suppliers along four areas in two functional areas.
Ability to conduct management and contract discussions in coordination with internal cross-functional teams. Establish and use standard, well-defined processes, procedures, techniques, or tools across all functional areas
Experience in personnel management. Possesses the ability to develop leadership and management skills that require mentoring and feedback from supervisors.
Ability to escalate program issues to management for assistance. Provide input to corporate activities including performance reviews, compensation-related actions, and staffing and hiring recommendations. Raise personnel issues to appropriate internal support elements.
Ability to act independently while routinely being reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall quality and content.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivation, professional demeanor and accountability.
Understanding and experience with NIST RMF and FedRAMP methodology for security assessment and authorization.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles
Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities
ITIL Foundations Certification
Earned Value Management
Experience with ISO-27001 or equivalent
Prior Department of State experience is highly desired
Bachelors and ten (15) years or more of related experience. Compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.
Secret with ability to obtain Top Secret
