Description

SAIC is seeking an IDC Systems Administrator responsible for supporting the Information Discovery Cell at Westfields. This position will support the RUSHMORE UES contract and be based out of Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Experienced Windows Administrator with background in monitoring system logs, troubleshooting, network configuration, system access controls.
- Experience applying patches to major subsystems and services, roles, and file system components within a Windows systems environment to include performing operating system and patch testing on all changes prior to installation.
- Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware components.
- Experience with system imaging and disaster recovery processes
- Possess current security and accreditation experience (ISO and ISSO duties to include updating required 503 accreditation documents)
- Maintain and troubleshoot development workstations with Windows 10 operating system components and appropriate SIGINT and Imagery application software packages
- Request and track hardware and software purchases

Qualifications

- Possess an active TS/SCI clearance with active Poly.
- This position requires a BS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or related technical degree and 9+ years of related experience
- Comply with applicable customer 50-5 and DOD 8570.1 series directives for accreditation
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high energy, high visibility workplace environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must have demonstrated presentation skills and experience interfacing with the customer
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Position requires a proactive, self-starting, independent, flexible engineer with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be productive with little supervision

Desired Qualifications

 - Expertise in Windows Server operating systems and additional server components including but not limited to Active Directory and Domain Account Administration.
- Familiarization with Nessus Security Center software.
