SAIC is currently looking for a Systems Integration Analyst, Sr. to join our amazing team!
Responsibilities may include analyze and review designs and test plans, processes, procedures, functional and data requirements analysis, system analysis, and documentation preparation for complex systems. Specialized in areas such as structural dynamics, guidance, navigation and control, instrumentation and communication, and production methods and may become experts in aerodynamics, thermodynamics, celestial mechanics, propulsion, acoustics, or guidance and control systems. May be required to provide guidance to less experienced engineers. Engineering disciplines that may map into this Standardized Labor Classification include electrical, avionics, computer, safety, reliability, systems and quality.
Integration support responsibilities include program plan development and maintenance, including performing launch vehicle mission trade studies, mission analysis, managing console operations, monitoring/ analyzing real-time launch vehicle data the development of mission unique requirements and derived requirements identification, monitoring and verifying all launch vehicle and satellite vehicle interface requirements including satellite vehicle transportation and processing requirement. Support includes an understanding of the launch services contract requirements and Launch Systems Integration Contractor service contract requirements to manage engineering change proposal incorporation, including change definition, contract modification technical evaluation, and launch operations planning and execution. Requires close coordination with the space vehicle Program, launch vehicle contractor, operating location, Range, and other associated contractors and organizations. Requires a working knowledge of USAF Engineering Launch Support System architecture and components, including the Launch Vehicle Launch Support Centers at the launch bases.
Responsibilities include formulating and enforcing work standards, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor schedules, supervising contractor personnel and communicating policies, purposes and goals of the organization to subordinates. Responsible for specific areas of work. Experience in leading small to medium entities composed of administrative and technical professionals who have been involved in analyzing, designing, developing, integrating, training, testing, documenting, implementing and maintaining complex systems and/or processes.
Translates the clients business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. May include analysis of transition planning, intelligence information requirements, and may develop architecture baselines. Assists with and leads development of integration, migration plans/schedules. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites, and can oversee production of integrated systems. May support ISR and C4ISR programs/clients/systems. Supports business process improvements or systems analysis for missions, systems, and fiscal requirements.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience with two (2) years experience in the National Space Security Launch area; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.Overview
