Job Description


JOB DESCRIPTION:  Supports business, technical and analysis efforts in specialized support disciplines including but not limited to program/project management, training, documentation, technical writing, network, communications and engineering. Evaluates business, management and engineering projects with regard to technical requirements.
Individual must possess thorough working knowledge of space launch systems and processes.  Individuals in this role must have a thorough understanding of launch vehicle processes and practices, launch site preparations flow and day-of-launch procedures. 

Could design and implement tools and technologies to promote knowledge management and collaboration within the enterprise. Draws out, captures and categorizes business information by direct communications with end users. Develops storage platforms, index strategies and user interfaces for knowledge assets. Implements workflows and processes to manage information using collaboration and knowledge management platforms such as Sharepoint. Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives.  


REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience with 2 years experience in the National Space Security Launch area; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
