DescriptionJob Description: Responsibilities may include analyze and review designs and test plans, processes, procedures, functional and data requirements analysis, system analysis and verification, and documentation preparation for complex systems. Areas of specialization include guidance and navigation systems, control systems, communications systems, digital communication protocol, electrical power distribution, control and transmission devices, signal processing, instrumentation, electromagnetic compatibility and interference, electrical interfaces, avionics electronics, and electrical ground support equipment. Other areas of specialization include test tools, engines, mechanical devices, turbines, propulsion and fluids, materials and properties, contamination control, ordnance, mechanical ground support systems, life support systems, and environmental control.
QualificationsRequired Education and Experience: Masters degree in a STEM field and twelve (12) years or more experience with five (5) years experience in the National Space Security Launch area; PhD or JD in a STEM field and nine (9) years or more experience with five (5) years experience in the National Space Security Launch area.
