SAIC is seeking a technical/engineering professional to fill a Capabilities Systems Engineer / Integrator (CapSE) role. In this role, a successful candidate will apply all disciplines required for identifying needed capabilities and establishing an architecture that assembles those capabilities into an integrated architecture. 

A successful candidate should have working knowledge of how to identify activities, determine dependencies and linkages, and create integrated schedules to support the execution of the end-to-end integration necessary to deliver operational capabilities in a large enterprise.

• Identify activities necessary to enable the integration, test, and delivery of operational capabilities in a larger enterprise
• Work with multiple teams and program offices to gather data and develop individual program/project schedules and ensure those schedules will support integration into the larger enterprise schedule
• Work with other organization to create and maintain an integrated schedule identifying activities, dependencies and linkages between activities and organizations
• Analyze schedules to identify potential issues with execution of activities and ability to close on need dates in support of delivery of operational capabilities
• Support development and coordination of readiness plans for end-to-end validation testing of space systems
• Help the customer establish priorities and engage with various internal and external stakeholders to include senior executive officials, military officers, development contractors, and end users
• Develops briefing and assessments to a variety of audiences, and must be able to convey information in a clear and articulate manner

Qualifications

• Current TS/SCI clearance with poly
• Bachelors of Science in engineering, science or related technical field
• 9 years professional experience in systems engineering and integration
• Experience with schedule development and analysis and use of MS Project and Excel
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and prioritize competing requirement and tasks

Desired Qualifications

• Maters of Science in engineering, science or related technical field
• Experience in large systems acquisition
• Thorough understanding of space systems design, integration, and test execution
• Knowledge of Earned Value methodology
