SAIC is currently seeking a Command & Control (C2) Systems Engineer with experience in tactical data links and MIL-STD interpretation to support the Army Interoperability Technical Review Board (AITRB) Secretary to ensure interoperability among the tactical C2 systems used in joint and multinational military operations.
The successful candidate will participate in the following Joint Configuration Forums as directed by CJCSI 6610.01E: Joint Multi-Tactical Data Link Configuration Control Board (JMTCCB), Joint Multi-TDL Standards Working Group (JMSWG) and Digital Aided Close Air Support (DACAS) working group meetings.
In addition, the job requires technical assessments and recommendations to be generated in support of Army Data Link forums including the Army Interoperability Technical Review Board (AITRB) and the Army Configuration Control Board (ACCB). The purpose is to assist the AITRB Chairman in providing coordination with Army systems via AITRB to diminish differences in establishing a consensus army vote at Army CCB and Joint forums. The candidate will also track new developments in Joint Interoperability Testing and the adjudication of Trouble Reports, author Army ICPs, RFEs and whitepapers and assist in determining schema and sub-schema implementations for Army platforms.
Bachelors Degree and 5 years relevant experience [4 YOE accepted in lieu of degree]

Familiarity with the following NATO standards: STANAG 4175, 5522, 5516, 5511
