SAIC is looking to hire an Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) Strategy and Plans Action Officer (AO) in HAF/A2/6OP (ISR & Cyber Effects Operations [CEO] Strategy & Plans Division) at the Pentagon. This position requires an active Top Secret and currently utilizing an SCI.
This position will provide support for Next Generation ISR Dominance Flight Plan Annex Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and military officers facilitating the plan's implementation.
Assists the Strategy and Plans Division Chief in executing the Agile Capabilities Development portfolio, to include monitoring of development operations (DevOps) projects, coordinating with AFRL and other Science and Technology organizations to connect current projects with ISR Flight Plan goals, integrating ISR Flight plan goals with the Acquisition community, and providing support in developing options for the Program Objective Memorandum, Planning Choices or other Air Staff funding processes.
Leads or supports ISR enterprise capability development initiatives and Air Force Warfighting Integration Capability's (AFWIC's) cross-functional team planning for emerging ISR & CEO technologies, capabilities, requirements development, and experimentation. Support A2/6's involvement in the Air Force Requirements Oversite Council, Capability Development Working Group and Capabilities Development Council.
Prepares A2/6 Senior Leaders on issues for Joint decision-making. Develops ISR-CEO strategies and participants as an ISR SME in USAF, DoD, and Intelligence Community (IC) strategy formulation working groups.
Perform general AO duties such as working Task Management Tool (TMT) tasks, preparing and/or reviewing Bullet Background Papers (BBPs), briefings, and other forms of written and oral communication; assisting with budget issues; answering Senior Leader & Congressional inquiries; facilitating external personnel visits to the Pentagon; coordinate VTCs/telecons/meetings for both internal & external discussions; and assisting AF customer on any other ISR-related operational or planning issues, as required.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience
SME-level experience with USAF ISR enterprise capabilities and issues
Previous Air Staff experience
Background in operational data issues (standards, object based production, DevOps, or previous experience in USAF Science and Technology community.)
Understanding of the requirements process and/or strategy, planning, programming, budgeting, execution cycle
