JOB DESCRIPTION:


SAIC is seeking a LabView Developer/Test Engineer in Crane, IN to support the US Navy.

 
JOB SUMMARY:

You'll have an opportunity to work on world-class programs that support the US Navy’s Counter-drone technology (C-UAS). C-UAS detects and/or intercepts unmanned aircraft. This vital role supports multiple Department of Defense customers, in such areas as small arms, munitions, countermeasures, and vehicle integration projects. 

 

Within these programs, you will participate in the design, development, verification and deployment of complex new software. You will utilize your previous software experience, and/or skills, to develop and maintain software using the following languages and technologies; LabView and Object Oriented Programming.


JOB DUTIES:

  • Utilizes LabView Object-Oriented software development interfacing Unit Under Test (UUT) and RF/digital based test equipment (RF, Power, Communications) to evaluate and test hardware requirements as it pertains to software requirements/development
  • Researches, designs, develops, modifies, evaluates and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment
  • Conducts experimental tests on equipment and evaluates results
  • Develops specifications for selecting components and equipment to use
  • Reviews vendors' abilities to support development
  • Frequent uses and applies technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND CLEARANCE:
  • BS in Engineering - Desired Major(s) - Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and three (3) or more years relevant experience; Masters Degree and one (1) year; PhD and 0 years     
  • 2+ years LabView experience
  • Familiar with RF Test Equipment
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
