Job Description:

  • Supports Assessment & Authorization (A&A) efforts under the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) on behalf of a federal civilian agency as a contractor
  • Participate in A&A status meetings
  • Facilitate moving systems toward a successful A&A efforts
  • Review and analyze artifacts such as documents and security plans for adequacy and completeness
  • Assist with Cyber Security testing including organizing and tracking artifacts
  • Provide support for meetings of testers and system security personnel
  • Interfaces with all areas of project including customer, computer services, and client services

  • May coordinate with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls

  • Follows established procedures

  • Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy

  • Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific projects

Telework opportunities are offered in the Kansas City area only.



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Liberal Arts, Computer Science or related field (4 years experience in lieu of degree) and 2+ years work experience
  • Technical experience which applies to systems analysis
  • Requires competence in systems analysis techniques, concepts and methods
  • Ability to work independently. Effective communications skills – oral, written (via email, IM, etc). Ability to track and organize artifacts in a document repository, attention to detail, meeting support
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products







Desired Qualifications



  • Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53 or similar information security assessment methodology is a plus
  • Familiarity with the Cyber Security Assessment Management (CSAM) tool is a plus
