JOB DESCRIPTION:

 
  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

  • Responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract.

  • Responsibilities may include developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee).

  • SCOPE: N/A LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT: N/A 

  • KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY: Limited use and/or application of principles, theories, and concepts.  Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards. Receives predetermined work assignment with specific instructions.

  • PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.

  • FREEDOM TO ACT: Work is closely supervised.  Follow specific, detailed instructions.

  • IMPACT: Contributions are usually limited to task-related activities.  Errors do not typically have a major effect on the organization.

  • LIASON: Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the group.

 
JOB DUTIES:
 
  • Works collaboratively with government and contractor team members supporting GXT Division, providing direct support to the Government Program Manager.

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

  • Supports scheduling and making arrangements for meetings, for researching and securing requested information, and for researching, compiling and proofing of various reports and studies. Prepares status reports and supports the development of program briefs.

  • May take and/or transcribe confidential or technical information, take and distribute meeting materials, order supplies, distribute mail, answer phones, or respond to customer/client/employee inquires.

  • Interacts with other support staff and department to gather, supply, or coordinate information.

  • Coordinates travel from Program leadership, submitting all travel orders and vouchers.

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

  • Responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract.

  • Professionally interacts with the customer and vendors as tasks requires.

  • Other administrative and support duties as directed by the program manager.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
 
  • Bachelors and three (3) years’ experience or Associates and five (5) years' experience ; in lieu of degree HS/GED and seven (7) years related experience as an executive level admin or program analyst.

  • Active Secret Security Clearance required (clearance must be listed in JPAS).  

  • Candidate must be a US citizen.
 

 

Desired Qualifications

 
  • Familiar with ERP, TWMS, iCrane SharePoint, and iPDM systems
