SAIC is looking for a shipboard networks engineer with a TS/SCI clearance to support PEO C4I (NAVWAR) and is familiar with designing and certifying shipboard SCI networks to establish or redesignate the shipboard enclave - Naval Tactical Data Networks (NTDN)
QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience. Applicable experience is acceptable in lieu of advanced degree.
Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or associated technical area with a strong foundation in network architecture and administration.
Ability to work with and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, government technical representatives, cross-functional teams and other supporting contractors; excellent written and oral communications; ability to work independently or in a team collaborative environment; ability to brief senior government personnel.
Understanding of Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I) and Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR, now Naval Information Warfare Command/NAVWAR) with prior experience with Naval Systems or Programs.
Experience with MagicDraw, Visio and other technical drawing applications necessary for the development of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) technical drawings to include Operational Views (OVs) and System Views (SVs).
Attendant network and security certifications such as: COMPTIA Network+, COMPTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
Prior relevant military or federal government experience.
Prior net-centric Systems Administration (SysAdmin) experience.
