JOB DESCRIPTION: SAIC seeks a Biometrics System Architect to lead the following tasks:
Define system architectures & performance requirements in support of biometrics; and analyze existing or proposed architectures for applicability and suitability.
Analyze system performance on the governments database (DB) and biometric tools in terms of mission and end user needs; and system performance in terms of capacity and throughput.
Define concept of operations, and functional and technical approaches for interfacing with other biometrics partners, including proposed interfaces, multiple network considerations, data quality, and data processing. in terms of capacity and throughput and biometric tools in terms of mission and user needs
Perform analysis and testing of data quality; identify consistency and other issues with datasets; and propose solutions.
Identify issues with new datasets and propose solutions for interoperability with existing data.
Recommend approaches to improve identity management through a combination of biographic and biometrics.
