Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
SAIC seeks a Information Sharing Specialist to be responsible for implementing information sharing mechanism and policies on Counterterrorism (CT) issues enabling sharing of terrorism-related information across the government, and US information to foreign and domestic partners. Tasks include:
Perform research in designated databases (DBs) and open sources, compile specialized reports and queries, and provide results in designated formats.
Review intelligence products again defined criteria as candidates for potential dissemination.
Provide tailored products and services to clients and ensure analytic needs of the customer are met.
Respond to request for proposals on research, warning or force protection topics of interest in response to Community requests.
Interpret US foreign and domestic disclosure policy and other guidance.
Capture Metrics and provide required reporting of metrics
Perform QC, and provide guidance and on-the-job training for less experienced contract employees.
Provide business process improvements and drafting support for other information sharing and policy initiatives
Qualifications
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of the concept of information sharing internally and externally among IC elements and domestic and foreign partners.
Ability to suggest and develop innovative and flexible solutions to assist management and teammates in developing policies and agreements with other Government agencies related to information sharing.
Experience in researching multiple DBs and open sources compiling specialized reports and queries.
Experience in monitoring, identifying, examining, and/or proactively investigating anomalies in intelligence data.
Demonstrated effective and efficient organizational, writing, and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills at all levels of Government, industry, and academia
