Job Description



SAIC currently has a Program Analyst Consultant position available with the US Army Next Generation Combat Vehicle Cross-Functional Team (NGCV CFT) supporting the definition and development of the Army’s future military ground vehicle systems. This position will be instrumental in planning, overseeing and managing operational aspects of critical next generation vehicle programs, serving as a liaison between project management teams and Army senior management.

Specifically, the successful candidate will perform and have the following capabilities:

  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving

  • Be responsible for ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished with scope, budget and schedule

  • Participate in defining and establishing program plan requirements, and monitoring and performance reporting metrics against these plans

  • Exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness with the ability to apply and/or develop highly advanced principles, theories and concepts as an expert in the field. 

  • Participate with senior management to establish strategic plans and objectives.

  • Serve as consultant to top management in long-range goals, objectives, policies, programs and capabilities.

  • Work independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs. Makes decisions on administrative or operational matters to ensure achievement of objectives.


TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more experience; PhD or JD and eight years(8) or more experience.
