The National Security Customer Group of SAIC is seeking candidates to support the Kessel Run (KR) Enterprise Services opportunity. KR, a detachment of the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), leverages industry best practices and products to rapidly deliver capabilities while posturing for future and potentially disruptive information technology (IT). Kessel Run revolutionizes the way that the Air Force builds and acquires software to meet the needs of Airmen across the globe. Kessel Run embraces Agile principles, DevSecOps, and lean product management practices to continuously integrate and deliver software capabilities. KR embraces a culture of rapid feedback loops (e.g. build, measure, learn) and user-centered design managed by Government-led teams to rapidly develop, produce, and deploy software across the Air Operations Centers and other Air Force programs, while continuously iterating and improving upon those software applications.
Cloud Service teams of KR develop and provide core services that all applications teams will be able to leverage. These core services include but are not limited to: Identity Access Management, geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) services, Release Engineering, Security Assessment Services, Runtime Orchestration Services, and monitoring and metric services.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for successful delivery of a program to a customer; or manage performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of another PM. Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements. Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing. Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership. Support business development and program staff management.
Delivers releases and products to support the overall KRES mission. Manages employees including DevSecOps Teams to achieve velocity. A project management certification is desired.
The security clearance required for this position is a Secret. A Top Secret clearance is desired.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience.
