Selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Candidate must be capable of developing methodologies and implementing comprehensive plans to collect and analyze data during computer-supported simulation experiments. 
  • Candidate must be capable of developing measures of effectiveness, measures of merit, reducing data, analyzing data, and reporting the findings as they relate to experiment issues. 
  • Experiments focus on the military utility of potential future Army capabilities and systems. 
  • Candidate must be able to document insights and findings related to experimentation results in support of a final report.
  • Primary responsibilities include developing data source matrixes, data collection plans and collection instruments, data reduction and analysis.
  • The candidate will be required to coordinate with various agencies to ensure experiment objectives are synchronized with Army and Maneuver Center of Excellence requirements.

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and (5) years or more of related experience (equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree)

 

PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Develops solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity. May refer to policies, procedures and practices.

 

FREEDOM TO ACT: Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

 

IMPACT: Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.

 

LIASON: Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects . Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
