looking to for a Training Analyst with particular emphasis on the curriculum
development process, supporting the International Programs Directorate (N9S)
for Center for Surface Combat Systems, Dahlgren, VA. Responsibilities include:
Develops, directs, plans and evaluates training programs or activities to meet external customer or internal employee learning objectives. Assignments may include needs analysis, custom course development, development of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of course objectives, and evaluation and learning assessments.
Collaborates with CSCS and other stakeholders to design and develop effective training solutions to support Fleet needs.
Develops, updates, and delivers multiple AIM-based products, including AIM I, AIM II, and CPM/Learning Object Model (LOM), as well as analyze ILE– and SCORM–compliant material that can operate in the Navy’s most current Learning Management System (LMS).
Supports and represents customer during training stakeholder reviews and conferences.
Assists with preparation of Contractor’s monthly progress reports.
Bachelors and three (3) years or more of related experience; years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Must have an active Secret security clearance.
Must possess understanding and wide application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards with regards to curriculum development processes.
Working knowledge of the Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) based products, including AIM1, I AIM II, Content Planning Module (CPM), and Learning Object Model (LOM).
Ability to work independently, as a member of a larger team and clearly communicate customer requirements while staying focused on primary goals.
Significant job related experience in the practical use and application of Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Effective presentation and documentation skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills involving both technical and non-technical audiences.
The ability to work within tight deadlines.
