SAIC is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support an exciting effort with the Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation (AFAMS). The selected candidate will help AFAMS explore the 'art of the possible' using current and emerging cloud technologies to revolutionize the simulated mission rehearsal & training experience. A major focus of this effort is to demonstrate an ecosystem containing a common shared environment where many simulators can live and interact in the cloud - enabling a scalable, high fidelity, and shared experience across different simulators to participants across the country. Gaming experience, specifically an understanding of how gaming multiplayer backend services and networking function, is strongly preferred. While this is primarily a remote work opportunity, some travel will be required.
