Job Description


The Account Maintenance Analyst is responsible for the management of accounts for the DCIO-Ops & the Department of Health and Human Services in support of over 10,000 end-users.  Support of accounts begin the first day of employment until the departing date of the user, special requests for Political Appointees and direct requests form DCIO. This position can be performed in Cookeville, TN; Washington DC; or Broomfield, CO. 

Day to day duties include:


·         Create, delete, disable and manage Active Directory User, Group and Computer Objects

·         Create, manage and troubleshoot Hybrid Exchange 2010 and online accounts, distribution lists and Shared Mailboxes

·         Utilize PowerShell scripts to create, update and disable Network and Exchange accounts

·         Performs liaison activities for Server Infrastructure and Exchange Tier 3

·         Provide expert advice into organizational IT capabilities to meet desired business, technological and security needs

·         Provide access to network shared drive and folders

·         Provide reports to Upper Management to track/manage end user activeness and access to the HHS network

·         Utilize PowerShell scripts to create, update and disable Network and Exchange accounts

·         Create incident tickets through Service Now

·         Process Current, Disabled and New Employee Request Forms

·         Troubleshoot Microsoft Office 2010/ 2016 and Microsoft Office 365

·         Manage Government issued Mobile Devices through MaaS360

·         Provide Emergency Support as requested

·         Reviewing ServiceNow tickets for details and routing to functional fulfiller teams

·         Team coverage 24x7

·         Additional duties as required


Required Education and Experience:

Must have a high school education and 5+ years of experience or an Associates degree and 3+ years of experience. 

Must have at least 2 years of direct IT experience

Must have experience previously working in Account Maintenance 

Must have the ability to work in a team environment 

Must be able to take on tasks and work independently
