Description
SAIC is seeking a contracting professional with a range of expertise, both broad and deep, who also has a proven understanding of cradle-to-grave subcontracts administration. This position will provide direct hands-on support to SAIC contract portfolio. It is expected that this Senior Subcontracts Administrator position will develop solutions to complex programmatic tasks and be capable of determining high value objectives with no guidance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Understanding and applying FAR/DFAR-based subcontracting principles, concepts, practices and standards.
Analyzing and evaluating contractual and performance risks associated with statements of work and contract type.
Developing solicitation documents to include draft subcontract documents. - Analyzing pricing and performing price analysis.
Negotiating complex terms and conditions to minimize risks.
Creating and documenting electronic, CPSR compliant subcontract packages.
Ongoing subcontract administration of a high volume of subcontracts to include full subcontract management.
Proposal support and Subcontract and task order closeouts.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
Working knowledge of FAR and Public Laws relating to subcontracting.
Experience with all contract types to include cost type.
Ability to perform price and cost analysis.
Negotiation skills and experience as relates to all cost types.
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Must be detailed oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple assignments at a time and be flexible and responsive in a diverse, changing environment.
Excellent oral and written communications and ability to communicate clearly, effectively and independently with senior management.
Proficient skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Problem solving.
Clearable up to a TS/SCI Poly
