SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the FAA National Airspace System (NAS) Lifecycle Planning Division. Responsibilities include the coordination and development of products for the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen) Portfolio Managers and performing technical and quality assurance reviews of products to ensure alignment with the agency’s strategic objectives; assisting with status reporting and preparation of various briefings on NextGen efforts; conducting research, evaluations, analyses, and studies; and presenting technical recommendations/solutions to meet short and long-term project/program planning requirements.
The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to interface and communicate with multiple customers on a daily basis.
• Prior experience as a systems engineer supporting the FAA
• Familiarity with FAA NAS and NextGen programs
