The Program Manager will serve as the Government’s primary point-of-contact and to provide overall leadership and guidance for all Contractor personnel assigned to the task order. The PM is ultimately responsible for the quality and efficiency of the task order to include both technical issues and business processes. This individual shall have the ultimate authority to commit the Contractor’s organization and make decisions for the Contractor’s organization in response to Government issues, concerns, or problems. This person shall be readily available to respond to Government questions, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues.
The Program Manager Job function will be performed for large financial agency with regional footprint across the US and highly complex IT ecosystem akin to that of a Fortune 500 company. The Program Manager is responsible for successful delivery of a program to a customer; or manage performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of another PM. Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements. Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing. Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership. Support business development and program staff management.
Bachelors and eighteen (18) years or more of related experience; Masters and sixteen (16) years or more of related experience.
At least (15) fifteen years of infrastructure Support experience.
Ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management including during the Oral Presentation and the Question and Answer session.
Experience managing incentive contracts using KPI/OPIs and performance metrics.
ITIL Foundation Certification
Demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of client-specific work flow processes.
Demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of client-specific change management processes.
Knowledge of commercial hardware and software similar to that of a large complex project and the contractor’s proposed hardware and/or software.
