The Program Manager will serve as the Government’s primary point-of-contact and to provide overall leadership and guidance for all Contractor personnel assigned to the task order. The PM is ultimately responsible for the quality and efficiency of the task order to include both technical issues and business processes. This individual shall have the ultimate authority to commit the Contractor’s organization and make decisions for the Contractor’s organization in response to Government issues, concerns, or problems. This person shall be readily available to respond to Government questions, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues.
The Program Manager Job function will be performed for large financial agency with regional footprint across the US and highly complex IT ecosystem akin to that of a Fortune 500 company.
The Program Manager responsibilities will include:
Successful delivery of a program to a customer; or managing performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of another PM.
Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance.
Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements.
Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership.
Support business development and program staff management.
