Summary

SAIC is currently looking for a Training Analyst to support launch system Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) activities for the Launch Enterprise (LE) Directorate at Air Force Space Command's Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC). This position is located at Vandenberg AFB, CA. Key aspects of this role will include the following and will probably be performed by more than one individual:

  • Develop, provide (instruct) and maintain a technical training program (lesson plans in accordance to Instructional System Development (ISD) models to include instructor and student materials as well as examinations) for approximately 200 launch personnel

  • Provide position technical training for launch operations teams that follow Operations and Day of Launch Training Plans for example

  • Develop and evaluate technical examinations designed to identify student comprehension of course material

  • Develop, evaluate and update the 45 Space Wing Instructor Certification Program

  • Develop/maintain 45 Space Wing Combat Mission Ready (CMR) Unit Qualification Training

  • Develop, maintain and inspect binders annually for Mission Readiness Training and Spacelift Operations Self Inspection Programs (SIP) as well as help units prepare for higher headquarters inspections

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Clearance level: DoD Secret; TS/SCI desired

  • Participated as an instructor, course developer or training manager for space launch related activities

  • Ability to recommend/make decisions on administrative or project work matters and ensures effective achievement of program, project, or organizational objectives

Desired Technology Experience

  • Space launch systems

  • USAF individual or unit training programs

Qualifications

Desired Education and Years of Experience

Bachelors and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and two (2) years or more experience
