SAIC is seeking Systems Engineer.


Provide subject matter expertise to Government on System Engineering and Integration related to Command and Control and Mission Processing Systems.   

 

Provide subject matter expertise to Government on the development and implementation of systems engineering and project management processes, plans, and procedures in support of mission ground station integration activities.

 

Provide oversight of system level testing and requirements verification and validation for Command and Control and Mission Processing Systems.

 

Provide oversight and recommendations related to integration of new tools and algorithms into operations and limited operations environments.

 

Apply systems engineering skills in requirements analysis and allocation, architecture analysis and design, technology assessment, systems migration, and transition planning to include risk assessment and management.

 

Reviews and adjudicates (as a delegate of authority) Requests for Change, local Needs, Risks, Issues, and Opportunities

 

Develops and applies methods, theories, and research techniques for the investigation and resolution of complex project requirements and technical specifications for software and hardware development projects

 

Evaluates plans and processes for full life-cycle projects or major phases of projects for highly visible technical solution programs

 

Champions continuous process improvement by facilitating Action Item Reviews, Lessons Learned, Causal Analysis, and Structured Improvement Activities.

 

Advise government on operational efficiencies, including innovative allocation of limited resources (personnel, power, space, cooling) to be most effective.

 

Provide program management experience against current capabilities evaluating schedules, milestones, while balancing local and enterprise efforts across the organization.

 

 

Qualifications

Clearance required to start: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Clearance ability to maintain: TS/SCI with Polygraph

 

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

  

       

Technical Degree with 10 years of experience.
