JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides intelligence support for contingency operations, battle staff and operational-level planning, joint and multi-lateral training exercises, and strategic engagement policy throughout the Areas of Operational Responsibility (AOR) and Areas of Interest (AOI) to include analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability. Monitors and analyzes all strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments for the countries in the AORs and AOIs. Assesses future and on-going political-military developments, military capabilities and doctrine, weapons acquisitions, and employment of military forces within each country (including the U.S.). Researches, authors, and coordinates threat assessments to support the Commander and the senior leadership as well. May focus on domestic as well as international threats. Considered to be a recognized authority in this area of expertise. Intelligence analysis may include; IMINT, SIGINT, ELINT, HUMINT, or MASINT. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. May support development and analysis of intelligence products. Presents analysis or products to customers. May support policy and procedures development for agency, interagency, or community wide support. Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives. Provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules. Establishes and recommends changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s). PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Develops technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. FREEDOM TO ACT: Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-term perspective for desired results. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. IMPACT: Guides the succesful completion of major programs. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives. LIASON: Represents organization as prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure ecosystem solutions reflect and are in line with industry and regulatory practices.

  • Work with Mission to customize a tailored approach to obfuscate operational funds for specific mission requirements

  • Leverage fintech and other financial platforms to develop tailored solutions that advance value transfer processes

  • Remain current (conference, trade shows, technology exhibits, etc) on illicit financial trends and apply to future funding operations

  • Meet with commercial entities in support of tailored money movement approaches

Required Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of commercial financial environment, capabilities, interdependencies, and use cases

  • Substantive knowledge of vulnerabilities and counter measures in the financial and fintech industry

  • Ability to analyze complex financial challenges and creatively develop solutions

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills

  • TS/ISSA
