SAIC is looking for Senior Systems Engineer (SE) with a TS/SCI clearance who seeks a challenge and ready to use their skills and experience that support Real Time Spectrum Operations (RTSO). This position is within the Program Executive Office; Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence (PEO C4I). The following are some of the tasks, experiences, and responsibilities an excellent candidate would take on in a dynamic and professional work environment.
· Provide subject matter expertise in RTSO and have an understanding of various Naval systems and capabilities including the following:
o Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations Program (AESOP)
o Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC)
o Electromagnetic Maneuver Warfare (EMW)
o Electromagnetic Spectrum Awareness and usage optimization
o Emission / Radio Frequency (RF) Signature Control
o EM Agility & Engagement opportunities
o Communications Electronic Support Measures.
o Airborne Electronic Attack systems
o Radar Electronic Support Measures (ESM)
o Communication Emitter Sensing and Attack System
o Blue Fore Command and Control Monitoring
o Radar (Passive and Active)
o Cyber and Advanced Information Operations (IO)
· Experience with tactical data integration from the sensor to the combat system.
· Research new RTSO concepts, procedures, and emerging technology
· Assist in integrating systems and defining performance criteria
· Analyze Navy/DoD electromagnetic spectrum requirements and determine appropriate spectrum support, strategies, and requirements
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or STEM and fourteen (14) years or more of related experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more of related experience; Applicable experience is accepted in lieu of advanced degree.
Required Skills: Ability to work with and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders; Government technical representatives, and contractors; excellent written and oral communications; ability to work in a team collaborative environment; ability to brief senior government personnel.
Desired Skills: Understanding of PEO C4I & SPAWAR; experience with U.S. Navy RF systems, programs, or METOC, and ship deployment operations.
