Job Description: Electrical Engineer - Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF), Agile Networking Gateway Link (MANGL).


Lead Engineer, supporting the Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF), Agile Networking Gateway Link (MANGL), from development through Full Operational Capability (FOC).


Key products include the following: Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events to include Systems Requirements Review (SRR)/System Functional Review (SFR), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), and Technical Design Review (TDR). Additionally there will be numerous technical reviews and product development support/reviews to include various Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), System Engineering Plan (SEP), Test and Evaluation Management Plan (TEMP), etc.


Tasks:  The threshold platforms include CH-53E, CH-53K, KC-230, and MV-22, multiple follow-on platforms are anticipated. Product support wil include development and flow down to the component level for the following products: System/Subsystem Specification (SSS), Interface Control Document (ICD), Project Plans, Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), and Technical Analysis. Additional product support includes, but not limited to, Engineering Change Proposal (ECP), Risk Management (RM), technical analysis, technical directives and trade studies.


-Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration, management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.


Education: BS degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science or one of the following Engineering disciplines: Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Computer Software is required.

At least six (6) years of experience in an engineering position is required. Five (5) years of experience directly related to Naval Aviation systems. Demonstrated knowledge in area of expertise is preferred.

Location: NAS Patuxent River, Lexington Park MD.


Remote working from any of the contiguous US states is authorized for the right candidate.




Qualifications

BS degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science or one of the following Engineering disciplines: Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Computer Software is required.


At least four(4)+ years of experience in an engineering position is required. Five (5) years of experience directly related to Naval Aviation systems. Demonstrated knowledge in area of expertise is preferred.
