Job Description


SAIC has a contingent opportunity for an Ops Manager to support the Army Sharp Ready and Resilient Directorate Training Support contract.  This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located in Arlington, VA. 

The Ops Manager shall be responsible for managing operations, to include the distribution of work assignments, establishing milestones, monitoring progress in accordance with established practices and time lines; assessing progress and providing guidance, to include goals, objectives, and milestones, ensuring production meets expectations; and provide comprehensive reports to Government Representatives. The OM shall be responsible for monitoring program implementation, providing guidance to Ready and Resilient Performance Centers (R2PC) support staff and Performance Center Managers (PCMs), and ensuring accurate implementation of the Programs of Instruction (POI). The OM shall be responsible for maintaining and updating existing SOPs, overall operations and scheduling, and publishing correspondence that affects R2PC operations.

General Position Execution Expectations:

The OM leverages staff authority and provides guidance and direction to the various staff entities in the SR2 contract headquarters.  

The OM will track status provided from the Performance Centers and provide guidance to the centers.   



  • The Ops Manager shall, at a minimum, possess a Masters level degree in business, operations, logistics, management, or a related field. T
  • The OM shall have at least five years of experience in a position that involves the management of training or education programs. 

  • Must have an active Secret clearance
