Job Description


Team SAIC is pursing the opportunity to provide support to the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-1 SR2 for the purpose of increasing the physical and psychological health, resilience, and performance of Soldiers, Families, and Department of the Army Civilians.

As part of this effort, team SAIC is seeking talented professionals and incumbent personnel for the roles of Training Center Managers (TCM) in anticipation of contract award. These positions are contingent upon award and located throughout the US.


TCMs will use their military leadership experience to be able to represent the CSF2 program to senior level leadership at the installation level to include General Officers and Garrison Commanders. The TCM shall serve as the local installation SME for CSF2 and R2C matters and lead, manage and direct contractor staff assigned to their respective CSF2 TC. The TCM shall coordinate with local installation leadership to plan, prepare and execute resilience and performance education training. The TCM shall participate in the Army Community Health Promotion Council and serve as the primary POC for Master Resilience Trainer (MRT) Level 1 training. The TCM shall ensure quality control of all MRT-PEs to include Professional Certification, MRT instructor progression and will conduct rehearsals for training presentations to ensure MRT PEs are "ready to teach". The TCM shall conduct local CSF2 Quality Assurance/Quality Enhancement and provide required reports. The TCM shall be responsible for developing the CSF2 Training Schedule at their respective installation and providing a draft training schedule to the Customer for approval.

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT: Manages experienced professionals (e.g. engineers, scientists, financial analysts) who exercise discretion and independent judgement performing assignments.  Often heads one or more sections of a small department.

SCOPE: Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.  Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.  Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.

PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Interprets and administers policies, processes, and procedures that may affect sections and subordinate work units.

FREEDOM TO ACT: Assignments are defined in terms of activities and objectives.  Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.

IMPACT: Decisions have an impact on work processes and outcomes.  Erroneous decisions or recommendations or failure to complete assignments normally result in serious delays and considerable expenditure of additional time, workforce, and funds.

LIAISON: Interacts frequently with internal personnel and outside representatives at various levels.  Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representatives.  Interaction typically concerns resolutions of operational and scheduling issues. Often plays a key role in cooperative effort among members of a project team made up of representatives from other departments. 



BASIC EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution, plus ten (10) years or more of related experience to include military leadership and training experience. Ability to obtain Secret clearance. US Citizenship.
