The National Security Group SAIC is seeking candidates to provide support to the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Directorate of Intelligence (J2) located at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida and at a variety of other locations throughout CONUS/OCONUS and the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). This support is primarily focused on providing the USCENTCOM Commander, the USCENTCOM HQ staff, subordinate Service/functional component, joint HQ staffs and our foreign partners with tailored intelligence needed for joint planning, operations, and assessments. The intelligence products and services encompass the full spectrum of the intelligence cycle and fulfill and support USCENTCOMs intelligence needs and responsibilities for situational awareness, information sharing, General Military Intelligence (GMI), targeting, Collection Management Authority and Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) management, CI/HUMINT, warning, theater strategy implementation, joint operations and exercises and joint contingency/deliberate planning. The J2 serves as USCENTCOM's authoritative source for intelligence expertise, skills and comprehensive knowledge on a wide variety of topics concerning the USCENTCOM AOR.

 

Job Description: The Intelligence Operations Specialist will provide support to the synchronization of intelligence operations, to include force management, exercises, and operations/plans integration in order to maintain intelligence unity of effort. Additionally, the candidate will staff, compile, and publish Directorate reviews of Concepts of Operation (CONOPS) for USCENTCOM J2.


Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in Central Region AOR with a Bachelor’s Degree or three (3) years of experience with a Master’s Degree. Additional years of experience or DD-214 in related field may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Knowledge of staff action processes and organizational structure of the COCOM and Intelligence Enterprise.


REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE:

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
