Description

SAIC is looking for a DODAF, MagicDraw, and SysML specialist with a TS/SCI clearance who seeks a challenge, ready to learn new systems and seeks a position to use their skills and experience supporting various programs of record and projects. This is a junior-mid level position within the Program Executive Office; Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence (PEO C4I). The following are some of the tasks, experiences, and responsibilities an excellent candidate would take on in a dynamic and professional work environment.

Provide your knowledge, capabilities, and systems engineering expertise of Naval systems to assist in developing Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DODAF) type products using DoD designated tools
Use MagicDraw and other tools to support various Programs of Record (PoR) and Projects
Apply system knowledge and basic understanding of one or more of the following:

Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) systems
Information Operations (IO)
Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems

Produce DOD Architecture Framework Version 2.02 Viewpoints and Models
Conduct activities based on sound engineering practices
Elicit and refine customer requirements
Analyze the required product deliverables and determine appropriate level of support to include various overview, system, and operational product views
Support team collaboration to provide, present, and brief MagicDraw visual modeling tool products
Develop new skills, certifications (if needed), and understanding of DODAF products in order to display and produce both simplified and complex system and operational overviews.


Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or STEM and two (2) years or more of related experience; Masters and zero (0) years or more of related experience; Applicable experience or technical training is accepted in lieu degree

Required Skills: Ability to work with and build relationships with a variety of stakeholders; Government technical representatives, and contractors; excellent written and oral communications; ability to work in a team collaborative environment; ability to brief senior government personnel

Desired Skills: Understanding of PEO C4I & NIWC (SPAWAR); experience with U.S. Navy systems, programs and ship deployment operations
