JOB DESCRIPTION: Oversees and coordinates Navy ERP reviews, audits and training at various NAVSEA commands. Serves as liaison between command ERP offices and contractor team supporting the commands. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with ERP business office project managers. Complete understanding and wide application of Navy ERP principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Full knowledge of industry practices. PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Develops solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity. May refer to policies, procedures and practices. FREEDOM TO ACT: Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Plans schedules and arranges own activities in accomplishing objectives. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. IMPACT: Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization. LIASON: Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requirirng coordination between organizations. Researches accounting discrepancies affecting expenditure reporting. Prepares draft funding documents. Performs data entry, integration, review and analysis of obligation and financial data in DoN databases and ERP.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience.
6 years of Navy ERP experience required.
SAP MM desired.
