Requirements definition, SOW & CDRL development, proposal evaluation and technical oversight in support of TAMMAC program supporting domestic and FMS production and sustainment of the TAMMAC system for F/A-18C/D/E/F, EA-18G, UH-1Y, AH-1Z, and AV-8B.
-In service engineering, ECPs, and Engineering Investigations in support of TAMMAC program supporting domestic and FMS production and sustainment of the TAMMAC system for F/A-18C/D/E/F, EA-18G, UH-1Y, AH-1Z, and AV-8B.
-Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration, management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, tests, or evaluates software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
NAS Patuxent River, Lexington Park MD. Remote working from any of the contiguous United States is authorized for the right candidate.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science or one of the following Engineering disciplines: Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic or Computer Software is required.
At least four(4)+ years of experience in an engineering position is required. Five (5) years of experience directly related to Naval Aviation systems. Demonstrated knowledge in area of expertise is preferred.
