Senior Predictive Reliability Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION: Uses advanced mathematical and statistical concepts and theories to analyze and collect data
and construct solutions to information technology services and equipment reliability analyses. Performs complex statistical analysis on performance data to validate and quantify trends or patterns identified by system and service engineers and administrators. Constructs predictive models, algorithms and probability engines to support data analysis or product functions; verifies model and algorithm effectiveness based on real-world results. Creates analysis datasets, assesses quality of data analysis programs and develops automated analysis tools where appropriate. May be responsible for data integration and/or creation and quality control of statistical submissions to customers. Will partner with customers management staff in establishing standards for data collection, management and /or reporting of data. Documents statistical results of assigned projects. Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives. Work is reviewed by management to measure whether objectives have been met. LIAISON: Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience
