POSITION TITLE: Deputy Joint Service Provider (JSP) Liaison
SAIC is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Joint Service Provider (JSP) Liaison to support AFNCR IT Services program by serving as an operational liaison between the 844th Communications Group (844CG) and the Joint Service Provider (JSP) at sites including Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and the Pentagon. The ideal candidate will be an expert in AFNet architecture and have experience with end-to-end Authorized Service Interruption (ASI) processes, including coordination, communication, and technical troubleshooting thereof.
Fulfills responsibilities of the primary JSP Liaison as necessary
Defines discrete systems with processes to link together complex systems and components with software applications to perform as a coordinated whole.
Has breadth of knowledge in several IT disciplines including systems and enterprise architecture, software and hardware engineering, interface protocols, and general problem solving skills.
May include analysis of transition planning, intelligence formation requirements, and may develop architecture baselines.
Assists with and leads development of integration and migration plans/schedules.
Acts as an advocate for internal and external clients as the ultimate authority on the architecture design to address client business problems.
Supports business process improvements or systems analysis for missions, systems, and fiscal requirements.
Job specific Responsibilities:
Maintain industry best practices for centralizing systems configuration information, restoral plans, internal and external service provider communication plans, and incident response/escalation plans to support to approximately 10,000 customers for a blend of basic and premier customers.
Be familiar with ASI processes, Communication Focal Point Operations, and have extensive knowledge of AF network architectures and network troubleshooting techniques.
Various locations in the National Capital Region, e.g., JBA, JBAB, Pentagon, and other sites as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD and four (4) years related experience.
US Citizenship is required
DoD SECRET clearance is required to start and a condition of continued employment
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelors in Computer Science or Information Technology
5+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Design, Architecture, and/or Administration, including extensive knowledge of AFNet Architecture
1+ years of Project Management experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
40-hour work week with the potential for off hours on-call response.

DoD 8570 baseline certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, etc)
Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, etc)
Networking certifications (e.g., Network+, CCNA, etc)
Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project)
